Welcome & Workshop: Driving Growth Through Feedback

Welcome & Leader Board Celebration

8:30 - 8:40 a.m. PT

The Art & Impact of Better Questions: Creating Clarity in High-Stakes Conversations

8:40 - 9:30 a.m. PT

Great leaders know the right question can change everything. In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to use questioning to cut through ambiguity, uncover hidden assumptions, and build psychological safety—even in tense or high-pressure moments. Grounded in BPM’s leadership principles and tactical frameworks, you’ll practice crafting questions that invite openness, foster alignment, and shift conversations from confrontation to collaboration. Through real-world examples, feedback structures, and hands-on exercises, you’ll leave ready to use questions as a precision tool for influence, trust, and results.

By the end, leaders will:

  • Choose the right question type — Distinguish between confrontational, procedural, conceptual, and logistical questions, and match the style to the moment.
  • Use the 5A Framework — Apply “Audience, Aim, Accuracy, Awareness, Adjust” to design clear, intentional questions that meet audience needs and avoid misinterpretation.
  • Balance intent and impact — Recognize when a question could feel like a challenge and reframe it to invite dialogue.
  • Drive performance through feedback — Ask targeted questions that highlight strengths, uncover root causes, and guide improvement without triggering defensiveness.
  • Foster psychological safety — Frame questions that encourage candor, collaboration, and close the “0-to-100” feedback gap.
